Organisation Map

Morning Star's mining and exploration businesses are headed by Mike Botting as the company's CEO. MIke is a mining engineer and also has significant experience in managing mine sites. Mike reports to the Board of five persons; Noel Laidlaw, Peter Jackson, Zhaoqin Zeng, Nick Garling and Alexei Motlokhov. The board members cover disciplines from mining engineering, geology and investment.

At site the business is controlled by Mike and Alex Kemp (a geologist and mining engineer) is the Mine Manager with responsibility for all in mine and over ground activity. Alex has two underground shift supervisors (both experienced miners) reporting to her who control the underground team on a daily basis.

The geology department numbers 4 geologists and 2 geological field assistants.

Both milling and maintenance foremen report into Alex Kemp.

MCO contract various consultants from time to time, who are used on projects such as the installation of production infratructure and the actual mining and exploration + resource drilling required to build our ore inventories and resource model and targets.
